Oliver!

Despite being surrounded by rain coats, tins of spaghetti hoops, and ridiculous amounts of baby wipes while panic packing for latitude (last minute as usual!), I had to do a quick post on Oliver! The Musical. It's showing at Norwich Theatre Royal for just over a month, and last night me and my sister went to see it. I was in festival panic mode so wasn't that excited before, but as soon as it started I realised it would be something special!! Every song, character, and piece of scenery was perfectly thought out, and I was completely transported into the story. I also forgot how many songs there are in the musical that I know! My favourites were 'Pick-A-Pocket' & 'Who Will Buy', and Nancy's 'As Long As He Needs Me' was incredible! The props and stage craft were incredible, and I would definitely recommend it, even if just for the characters of Fagin & The Artful Dodger, who were so convincingly charming and won the audience round immediately! If you can, grab a ticket & go, it's definitely worth it!!
