InterRail
I love to travel, and feel like I spend all my time waiting/planning my next trip away. This year I was so lucky, in getting to go skiing, as well as on a trip to France to see family, and Barcelona. However, in planning for next summer, I'm obviously going to have to be a lot more cost aware, but also want to explore and go a bit further afield... My friend Alex & I have decided to go interrailing together, and I am unbelievably excited! At first, I was slightly concerned when he said he wanted to go to Eastern Europe (I was hoping for more capital cities/lazy beaches), until I started looking up some of the cities and villages, and realised what a fascinating place it is! My google search brought up this great blog as a brilliant starting point on where to start planning. I'm already set on visiting Mostar in Bosnia to see the Diving competition held every summer, as well as the carnival in Kotor, Montenegro! I'm going to compile a list of places and things I want to visit, and try and plan an itinerary around it. I'm so glad I won't be travelling alone, and I'm actually so pleased not to just be revisiting countries I've been to before, or big cities I'll be able to see at any stage of my life. This is going to be an amazing experience, and I can't wait to go!
