I practically gave myself a week off from working and being productive to just enjoy my birthday, which was brill but now it's over! Reality is edging its way back as I realised this morning when I saw the state of my kitchen & bedroom - it's like a tornado hit just my house.. and just the inside of it... I had a brilliant day on Monday with a lush meal at Jamie Oliver's, followed by a hilariously brilliant night out with my girls! Tuesday was painful... Friday was the PJ party which I've just got the photos from, and they are fab! Everyone whacked out their best nightwear, including a size 22 green checked nightshirt with winnie the pooh characters (thank you for that present David!), and many a cheesy song was sung. Yesterday I went to one of my oldest friends 18th's which was so lovely, although I panicked when I read 'black tie' on the invite - as someone who lives in leggings and jumpers this was a struggle, and the main reason for the messy bedroom as there are clothes everywhere... But I pulled something together, and a lovely time there and headed out afterwards to a pub & club with a huge group which was great. Me & my friend Serena have spent the morning eating cake and avoiding cleaning, but I feel like I really need to face it now.... Back to reality!
