It's really cold outside, the
last two weeks have been really sad, and motivating myself to do any actual
work is just not happening. HOWEVER! Somehow, in the last two days I've
turned myself around, and I genuinely think it might be due to two things; one,
an amazing shuffle
that came on my ipod, and two, an incredible video I read about and have since
watched a hundred several
times. We'll start with the video - Introducing Keyonce Bowles. This impersonation is so good, I
can't even put it into words; just give it a watch, and I guarantee it will cheer you up!
(Personal favourite moment - "Why do potatoes come from the ground, but
apples come from trees? Why? That's a lot to think about.")
Secondly, some good songs to keep
you going! I always whack out Beyonce when I'm feeling a bit low, and I
rediscovered my Dreamgirls soundtrack yesterday which was a beautiful moment.
If you're not a fan, go for classic Destiny's Child.. Also, Stevie Wonder! Listening to Part-time lover/Living For The City has made my mornings so much better. Classic No Doubt and Joss Stone has also been beaut :-) Hope you're keeping warm & happy! X
