2013

I have a pathetic addiction to horoscopes, and for the start of a new year I like to see 'what's in store' for me.. (If you are similarly inclined, ELLE is fab.) Whether or not you believe in them, I think January is a great month to reflect & rethink. Instead of making resolutions to detox/diet/ban yourself from chocolate forever, I think it's good to make changes based on when you weren't happy last year, compared to when you were happiest. So this weekend I decided to prioritise my studies for the next few months, and took decisive action towards it and (although I was really nervy before) I feel so much better! Today I've been clearing out my mess of a room and getting everything in order for what is going to be a really hectic year, and making some resolutions for the year ahead. It's already been a really good start to the year, spending lots of time catching up with good friends & family, and I'm looking forward to lots of lovely things coming up!
Resolutions
-Stop spending! Just for a few months, I am seriously going to limit my shopping addiction (particularly after a heavy sale splurge)...
-Be better at birthdays! I inevitably forget when they're coming up, and end up last minute present dashing... This will change.
-Organise. It's my worst thing, but I need to face the fact leaving deadlines is not going to help me. I'm already slipping on this one, maybe I'll start it next week..
-Take more pictures. Just a simple one!
