Karma

I really like to believe that good things happen to good people, and while I sometimes find it hard to believe in fate and destiny, I do think you can make your own luck. However, Karma has decided to give me a massive slap in the face. I don't know if I was a puppy kidnapper in a former life, but suddenly my luck has changed and I am not loving life. Today I faced an angry aggressive driver for the first time by myself (yes I almost cried, I was tired), was late to a lesson (I am never late), and it started snowing. Again. These are just a few events, I've also enjoyed my bag splitting, being pushed over in heels, ripping my favourite jeans, and loosing my nandos loyalty card. This is getting ridiculous. I'm in radical need of a turn of luck! I volunteer to help younger students read, I helped collect 5000 books to send to schools in Tanzania, I'm training to run a half marathon for charity, what can I do!?

So my new plan is just to expect everything to go wrong. For example, my English coursework is being submitted tomorrow, so I am anticipating a printer failure, multiple computer viruses, being snowed and therefore unable to hand it in, or just waking up and finding out I dreamt I'd written it. This is hopefully just a temporary tactic until things start getting back to normal. I really hope it does!
