It's fair to say I change my mind about what I want to be when (if) I eventually grow up - at 5 it was a hairdresser, 8 a teacher, 10 Johnny Depp's wife, 14 a doctor, 17 a journalist, a few months ago Adele, but most recently the idea of being a Blue Peter presenter came into my head! My tutor was talking to me about my ideal job - being able to travel, try new things, meet new people, constantly learn - and at the same time be able to make an Olympic stadium replica entirely out of egg boxes. So evidently, Blue Peter came into my head! As a kid it was our evening entertainment to sit down and watch Blue Peter before dinner, and I absolutely loved it - we set up our own crafts table and my grandma made me a 'Blue Peter draw' at her house full of ribbons/boxes/paper for my various experiments.
So when I was told yesterday that the show was looking for a new presenter, I got very excited! Although I know the chances of getting it are probably 1 in 27 million, it's a wicked opportunity so I thought I'd apply anyway as there's nothing to loose! And if no such luck, I'll just have to keep practicing my egg box handy work....!
