PJ's

Today I've been bed bound thanks to a the winter illness that seems to be attacking everyone at the moment - you know winter's arrived when you have to whack out the extra strong paracetamol. As someone who pretty much always refuses to be ill ever , taking a whole day off shows just how bad things have gotten! But, there's light at the end of the tunnel. I've been watching Made In Chelsea & Don't Tell The Bride to cheer me up, and ploughing through The Kite Runner. Also, realised just how important good Pyjama's are! I have a whole draw of crammed with old t-shirts & random pairs of bottoms that I never wear. We probably spend more time in our pyjamas in an average week than we do in any one other piece of clothing (except my blue leggings; literally attached to my legs). So invest! Sleep is vital - without it, you gain weight, can't function properly, and your body can't recover from a tiring day/weekend. Getting into my pyjamas gets me in the mood for sleep straight away (not always a good thing at 4pm on a Tuesday..). Here's some of my faves at the moment!

These are all from Topshop which may seem like I haven't bothered to do any more research, but is mainly because of all the PJ's I've ever bought they've always been my favourite. I've got two pairs of bottoms that I've had for absolutely years and are still so comfy and lovely to wear. These Space print ones look incredible! It'd cost me £45 for both (with student discount), but considering how much wear I'd get out of them I feel like this isn't so ridiculous, particularly as the top could double up as general wear! The flower set are £25 and just look so cute! & These shorts are a bargain at only £12.

Also I would say a good selection of jumpers, cardigans, and a dressing gown is essential, particularly on these wintery mornings. My current one is a huge John Lewis furball which is lovely & warm, but I've just seen this incredible Jack Wills Knit which I love! At £129 I doubt I'll be splurging too soon (thanks to the ASOS sale this week..). It's just SO cute!!! Anyone who owns/buys this, I am forever jel.

Tuck up & get some sleep! To survive winter, you're going to need it! X
