Snow V. Summer

Last night, Snow finally hit Norwich! & it properly snowed.. From about 5pm til 11pm it did not stop! Too many years of freezing in school after a snowball war have put me off them, and I hate when it turns into slush, but last night me & my friend Alex went for a walk at 9 and it was so beautiful. Everywhere was quiet, and we climbed over into the local park and the local playing field which were just an expanse of marshmallow snow, it was amazing! I love that snow just makes everything a little bit more magical (even if it does always result in smudged make up, freezing fingers, and dripping hair...). But then today, this youtube clip  popped up on my twitter feed which made a nice contrast! It's the biggest colour festival in the western hemisphere, and looks incredible. Winter without snow annoys me because it's just grey; I love summer & autumn, when there are colours everywhere! This clip just made a lovely comparison, against the blank canvas that is N-town today :-)
