How To Combat January Blues

This has been the view from my bedroom window for the last few days, so much snow has been falling in Norwich! Tonight it's predicted 15cms are going to fall (fingers crossed, could really do with a third day of cancelled lessons!). On top of this, everyone's been struggling through revision, illnesses, & skintness - standard January... However! Thanks to a few days of cancelled sixth form (thank you Lance the caretaker, thank you so much <3), I've been able to spend so much time catching up with all my ladies (and Alex) which has been swell! Two brunches, a dog walk, a salsa discussion, a free half a chicken, a free make up lesson, a few drinks (sorry Jan detox, it was never going to happen!) and a lot of gossip later I've had such a good few days! So if you're feeling a bit ranky & January-ish, as is standard, then grab some friends & do something that involves spending no money, and just have fun! I've had such a laugh & barely spent a penny.. (Also thanks to my Nandos card..). Invite people over, go for a cuppa rather than lunch, and be the first to suggest movie/boxset days! Don't let January get you down! It's only around for another few weeks, so make the most of being able to still eat ridiculous amounts of Xmas leftovers & wear comfy jumpers - that's what it's there for! XXX
