Berlin

Next week I'm going on my last ever school trip, and it's going to be a pretty great one. We're headed to Berlin & Krakow (it's a history trip), so we're visiting sites including the Reichstag building, and Auschwitz Concentration Camp. It's going to be a packed 5 days, and emotionally very intense I'm anticipating, but I think it's a trip everyone should make at some point in their lives. However, packing is proving to be a logistical nightmare, as I've just googled the weather - it's snowing in Poland. -9! I thought England was being reluctant about spring, but apparently the rest of Europe is protesting a lot harder! 

So the plan is - layers! lots of layers. I'm thinking jeans over thermals over tights with two pairs of socks as a minimum.. I get pretty chilly I can't lie! Nevertheless I am really looking forward to it, especially as I get to go with some lovely ladies & our babe of a history teacher... Berlin, look out!
