iPod updates

I'm very very excited to be going away to Barcelona next week for 7 days of sun, sea & (hopefully!) tanning! As well as some lush food and sightseeing, I plan to laze on a lounger on the beach with my iPod and attempt to get a little bit of colour (otherwise an emergency purchase of St. Tropez may be needed in the airport before coming back!). This is quite a task and can take hoooours (damn you pale Irish skin!), so I always stock my iPod up with albums to listen to. I find when I'm at home the only time I'll listen to a full album is when I'm working, so I never really give it my full attention.. So for next week I'm getting a list of albums together to add to my beloved iPod so I can soak up the sun & discover some new loves hopefully!

Mystery Jets - Radlands I loved Serotonin, but after listening to a few of the songs on this album like 'You Had Me At Hello' and 'The Nothing', I think this could be a really good album as it's chilled and feel good!
Alabama Shakes - Boys & Girls This is mainly due to seeing their incredible set at Latitude! I'd only really heard them as background music before that, but having developed a bit of a girl crush on Brittany Howard (what a babe) I think this album is definitely an essential addition....
Joss Stone - The Soul Sessions Vol. 02 - 'The Soul Sessions' came out in 2003, it was all our family were listening to for weeks, and 'Mind Body & Soul' is still played frequently on a sunny afternoon. So I'm definitely looking forward to listening to this! Her voice is beaut, and the music is funny & summery so I think this will be great in 33 degrees on a beach!
Passion Pit - Gossamer Had to be done! 'Carried Away' and 'Take A Walk' are already two favourites, and I can see my brother enjoying this one too (he's 14 going on 24) which is high praise!
Friends - Manifest In my first ever post  'I'm His Girl' was one of my favourite songs at the time.. Well now I am excited to listen to the whole album from the Brooklyn band, especially from preview listening!

Suggestions for additions to the holiday playlist would be great! Hope you enjoy these as much as I'm planning to! :-)
