Topshop Treats

Recently I've had a little bit of a cash flow problem (as in the cash is flowing out of my purse....) so I've barely been shopping which has been hard & horrible with all the beautiful summer prints around! However, I have had a bit more luck this week, as the Topshop sale started, and I managed to pick up these two lovelies. 

This playsuit (left) was reduced from £38 to £7 (although i got it for £6.30 with a student discount!) I'd never have paid full price for it, but I really liked the print and thought the cut was quite flattering so for just over a fiver, definitely a shout! The dress on the right was slightly pricier (£22.50 down from £50) but as a simple summer evening dress I thought it was a bit of an investment, as it's classic and can be worn all year. 

I'd say at shops like Topshop it's definetly worth waiting for the sales, as they're fairly frequent & hugely discount items which you don't really want to pay full price for. Always have a root around & try on something a bit different to what you'd normally go for - I'd normally think this dress was way too girlie for me, but with black leather boots or wedges I think it'll toughen it up a bit. Don't be blinded by the discounts - if you don't love a dress, but are tempted by the fact it's reduced from £60 to £15, don't do it! Buy your size - If you like a top, but they only have a size that's a tight squeeze/swamps you, it's not worth it! It's only a bargain if it's something you'd want to buy if it's full price, but don't have the money for. 

My suggestions for Topshop bargains at the moment would be any embellished shorts (most are down from £60 to £30, and with the weather as it is, an Indian summer could definitely be on the cards, so not a bad purchase!) These bralets are both reduced to £10, & this jacket is reduced from £95 to £45 - perfect autumn jacket sorted! Finally, this tie dye top is just £20 and would be great with jeans or shorts (weather depending!)

This may sound like one HUGE advert for Topshop, but it was simply that it's the only place I've actually been into in a few weeks as I've been so busy, & was lucky to find the bits I did! I'm hoping to save up a bit more so I can invest in some of these items :-)
