showtime...

I've been really slack on posting recently, so thought I'd do a general update/explanation.. For the last two weeks I've been rehearsing & performing in a musical 'Snow White - The Truth'  at Norwich Playhouse, meaning last week my days were pretty packed & evenings are insane at the moment! It's so much fun, and I really love doing it, but lack of sleep/alcohol consumption/stage make up have all contributed to pretty shabby skin and dark undereyes :-( So this post is more of a plea than anything! I need tips on quick recovery for skin! I've got a few already, but would appreciate any contributions :-) 

1. Drink LOADS of water! I have about 2 litres a day, and I always have a bottle in my bag, but have recently switched this for sugar free energy drink - definitely a bad call! Switching back as of today! 
2. Fruit! My bank balance has taken a huge hit, so I've been scrimping on good food, buying pots of yoghurt and slices of pizza, and grabbing whatever's left in the fridge when I get home. I've just had an apple and grapes and already feel so much more awake and healthy than I have in ages! Definitely need to get my 5 a day count back up.... 
3. Cleanse, Tone & Moisturise It doesn't help that I've run out of Cleanser & Toner, and due to the low cash flow haven't restocked yet, but making sure I take of all my make up with cleansing wipes is my highest priority! I've ended up sleeping with it still on on a few occasions as I just crashed at someone elses & didn't think, or just couldn't be bothered at 3am to go and find my wipes.. This is changing!

Doing the show is always makes me feel like it's really summer, & I really love doing it, but I definitely should've looked after myself a bit more!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated :-) (and sorry for lack of recent posts!!) X
