This album, like Lucy Rose's, also came out on the 24th of September, and it feels like I've been waiting for it forever. Mumford & Sons' first album, Sign No More, was released in 2010 and I love that the band didn't rush to get a follow up out within a year, but stuck to their style and just enjoyed touring for a while. I saw them perform at Latitude festival in 2010, and they were absolutely amazing. It was an afternoon set on the main stage, and suddenly everyone who'd been sitting with ciders chatting got up and started dancing, it was fantastic and one of my best festival moments! For a while I've been wishing they'd record some more stuff, so this album Babel is a very lovely treat!! It's still so very Mumford, the lyrics as truthful and honest as always, and the tracks come together so nicely, it's truly lovely to listen to. 'Ghosts That We Knew', 'Hopeless Wanderer', and 'Not With Haste' are my favourites, but the whole thing is great :-) If you loved the first - you won't be disappointed; if you've not really listened to them before - definitely listen to Babel!
