In the last few days I've been trying to get really organised, as between school/work/socialising/planning future, everything gets really complicated if I just leave it to my normal system of "Do Whatever You Remember Needs Doing"... So in this endeavor, I firstly tackled the filing system which actually wasn't so horrible as I got to buy new
folders and diaries. I've now got three just to complicate what could've been a really simple system, but they're all too small to fit
everything in, so this will do! I also live on
To Do lists, post it's, and a brown notebook (it literally has my life in it, I don't know how I'd ever manage to sort anything without it!). I've run out of post it's (great start), but am investing in industrial amounts ASAP. I'm starting to update my To Do Lists every 3 days to make sure I keep on top of it all, and actually starting using just one, rather than multiple versions of the similar ones as I loose everything... Todays
organisational achievement was sitting on the phone to a Virgin Mobile call centre for 40 minutes sorting out why I was being charged for internet usage on my phone which is far too ancient to have a clue what picture messaging is, let alone the internet! As a technophobe with a fear of using the phone for anything more than chatting to my friends, this was a huge personal success! But, I successfully managed to get back half my money, and disable it from my phone, so that's one thing to cross off the list!
A little each day helps, and the satisfaction of crossing things off the list is so good!
