Upcoming Joy!

It's so easy to get down at the moment: thinking about Uni applications is making me physically ill, I'm back at school and therefore can no longer laze in the sun doing nothing with my girls all day, my cash income is lower than I can limbo, and I'm playing catch up for all the things I was meant to do over the summer and didn't! (Music exams - postponed.. indefinitely...). HOWEVER! I've got so many things to look forward to that when I actually sat down and thought about it, I realised I really don't have a very rough deal at all the moment. This list is probably really dull to read, but writing it cheered me up, and it's something I can read back on a grey day to remind me it's all getting better :-) Make your own!! If things are getting you down, and you are finding motivating yourself really tough, right a list of great things coming up, make a To Do list, and get things sorted! X
List Of Joy!
Nell's 18th! (Glitter themed - what's not to love.)
My own 18th!! This includes a trip to Jamie Oliver's restaurant, a huge night of dancing & cocktails with my girls, as well as some (inevitably) messy nights out!
Nottingham Uni Open Day - A day out of school, and hopefully an event that will get it straight in my mind what course I really want to apply for...
Yet another 18th - this one is one of my oldest friends, who's birthday is the day after mine. She's having a huge party with a bouncer & welcome drinks (proper classy!), so it's an excuse to get very dressy with some of my oldest & best friends.
Spa Day! Me & Dad love a bargain, and he recently found a great deal at a local spa, so me & three of my girls are all going for a day of pampering and procrastination - I can't wait! (Dad's not joining, just to clarify...)
GIGS!! Despite the post festival blues that just won't go away, I've just booked tickets to both Lucy Rose and The Mystery Jets, who are playing in November. I only have money for these ones at the moment, but as soon as I get paid (& actually start saving...) I'm also planning on going to see Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Of Monsters & Men, Django Django, Bat For Lashes, and Twin Atlantic. A gig every few weeks keeps me a very happy girl, so I can't complain at all!
