Birthday Blog!

Monday was my 18th birthday, and (I'm ashamed to say) I'm still recovering, hence the lack of posts recently. Before I go to bed at 8pm this evening (so. sleep. deprived.) however, I had to share this incredible video on my blog! It's no secret that Beyonce is my idol in life, and my friend Ellie put together this fantastic video of my friends for me as a surprise for my birthday! It was shown in my sixth form common room too, which added to the hilarity, and I can't deny that I've watched it at least thirty times... This may be less amusing if you don't know the people, but you can still appreciate the sentiment I'm sure! I'm waiting to get my disposable pictures developed, but Ellie also documented my first Cosmopolitan with my beautiful cousin & my first legal pint. (also if you hadn't realised, I broke my non drinking vow - life's too short!) It's been a great few days, and it's made me appreciate how fantastic all my friends are! I think it's easy sometimes to forget how much the people we see & talk to all the time really care, but this week I am a big bubble of love for them all, and I can definitely say I had a proper 18th!
