Home Made FroYo!

My sister introduced me & my brother to the joys of FroYo this summer in Barcelona - a tub of frozen yoghurt topped with fresh fruit and tasty sauces, what is not to love. Especially in 30 degree heat in the middle of a busy city, it's the perfect refreshing snack! Sadly today in Norwich it's currently 12 degrees and drizzling, but I've (accidentally) managed to make myself some delicious FroYo to keep my energy levels up in an attempt to power through an essay...

Recipe
Put one bag of frozen raspberries, one banana, a glass of orange juice, and a good squeeze of lemon in a food blender/processor/blitzer, whack it on until it's thick but fairly liquidish...

I was attempting to make a smoothie but somehow got the quantities completely wrong and instead made this, and it is delicious! And also an amazing bright pink.. It's impossible to drink so a spoon is essential, making it even more like FroYo. It's unbelievably healthy and also pretty filling so a good snack when you're feeling a bit peckish and the biscuit tin is calling.. I also added a shake of ground ginger into my glass as it's pretty chilly and I needed a little bit of warming on my inside, and it was lovely! I've got a whole jug in the fridge which I'm hoping will last until at least Thursday, but it's so delicious it'll probably be gone by tomorrow knowing my family! It might seem years since summer but some of this lovely mixture will put you back on track :-)
