Girls Aloud have confirmed they will be touring in early 2013. I can't lie I'm pretty excited about this - I was 8 when they formed, and def have a soft spot for the girls. (Espesh Cheryl, obvs...). Love them or hate them, you can't deny that the girls have released some absolute classics and I find it hard to believe Sound Of The Underground is a 2002 hit! And you have to respect the fact they have not had it easy at all in the last few years - Cheryl's clearly been the most well documented drama, but Sarah Harding has recently had rehab for alcohol addiction, as well as constant rumours of tensions between the girls. Despite this, like true professional they always slap on a smile and an incredible dress, and I love that. I will definitely be adding their new single Something New (released November 18th) to my exercise & motivation playlist. It's like a cheesier Beyonce Run The World. But considering there's 5 of them, that's a hell of a lot of girl power, something I always support. I say good luck! The girls always work ridiculously hard when touring (as magazines are always too keen to point out), and I really hope this will help them after a difficult few years. Also, they might give Little Mix some competition for top girl group at the moment; lets hope Girls Aloud will always be top of this category!X
