I am definitely not one of those people who joins the gym on the 1st of January, promising to go every day, and eat better for the rest of the year. This is mainly because I hate the gym. I get bored by myself, but equally don't feel any of my friends should have to witness me at my rankest; if I'm going to exercise, I'm going to get red & repulsive, that's just how it is. However! I found my way round this (as the christmas biscuit tin is just so attractive I didn't really have a choice). Instead of making big commitments, I've resolved to just be more active in general. I love walking & cycling, and instead of blagging the odd lift I'm going to make sure I get myself to & from college everyday. I'm back at Zumba, which is possibly the most fun form of exercise possible, and I've made a playlist for general round the house activities; washing up/doing the ironing will now be a dance opportunity instead of a chore! Make a few simple changes and see if you notice a difference :-) I'm also going to hide the biscuit tin....
