As fun as Skater Skirts are to wear, without the safety of thick black tights, with a summer breeze they suddenly become a whole lot less practical... Personally, I'm really liking A-line shape skirts at the moment. With a t-shirt tucked in or a loose cami & blazer, flats or heels, it's a simple but pretty look especially if you go for bright colours.

Sandals... I used to hate them, simply as when I was little my mum used to put me in them with white trainer socks. As I got older I decided they were repulsive and only for women over 60. Recently though, I've realised how practical they are. I live in my furry suede camel boots, which were fab for winter, but now it's summer it'd be nice to have something a little prettier & lighter for my feet! Any silver shoe is a winner, the black topshop ones I loveee, JuJu jellies used to make me feel ill but I think with a simple outfit and frilly white socks, maybe they could be acceptable... The last pair are totally ridiculous, but they remind me of Charlotte's shoes in Sex & The City, so they had to be in there!
L-R Dolce & Gabbana, Ray-Ban , ASOS, ASOS
I wear sunglasses pretty much all year round as I cycle everywhere, so even in winter they're essential to stop rain from smudging eye make up.. I currently wear the most unacceptable pair of free Jagermeister black sunnies as I don't care if they get bashed & broken. This summer I'd like to invest in a slightly nicer pair though! The Dolce & Gabbana's are a dream, but I'm sure Primark will have a cheap copy soon!
