Sunny Sunday

Sunday may well be my favourite day of the week - I never have to get up for work (which

makes Saturday night a loooot of fun!) so a long lie in & lazy breakfast are always called for.. Then when it's sunny I love to get out :-) Yesterday I treated myself to a bit of retail therapy and invested in some new summery shoes, and then popped out to lunch with two of my best pals.My new Topshop babies might be a little Grandma-esque, but I think they're going to be a good investment to go with jeans/slouchy wear, or shorts and dresses when the sun decides to stick around..

One of my favourite places to eat in Norwich is The Workshop. It's lively, the staff are always lovely, and the menu is amazing. We usually get a few tapas-y things to share such as halloumi and figs or red pepers and mozzarella (i love cheese), but this time we ventured out to the Turkish flatbread pizza - it was incredible! They also do an amazing selection of drinks, alcoholic and non.. I went for a Mango Lassi, a traditional Indian yoghurt based drink. It was absolutely delicious, and perfect for a sunny/lazy afternoon. If you're about, definitely pop in, even if it's just for one of their fab coffees (watch them make it, it's impressive!). Not open mondays, but open late weekends - get their early if you want to make sure you get a table, it's always packed!
Hope you all had lovely Sundays too! :-) X
